It all makes sense now

any story needs a board, just like...snowboard :)

These are two frames taken out of two storyboards I've made some time ago. The first is hand coloured, the second had some help from the computer.

some poetry

This one has a poetry atmosphere to it. I remember I was really overwhelmed by some feelings. I think they weren't nice but they brought this to life. Oh, yeah.

After Christmas

It's been a while since my last post. That's Santa's fault. :) I went to visit my family for Christmas in my home town and that didn't leave time for keeping it up with this blog. Eating was more important lately :). I really hope you all had a nice worm Christmas with lots of presents and love. I'm back now with a few more drawings. Old ones, but really precious to me.
This one is called Love puzzle. Enjoy!

a girl

This is another drawing style I've tried.
This girl is enjoying whatever experience she's having.
I hope I'll be able to enjoy all my experiences and also learn my lessons in time.

I think hands are one of the most beautiful parts of the human body. They can create, heal or hurt. They are a small universe all by themselves.

the wish of a wish

This green-blue guy is Embriom aka the embrion man. I have this thought of making him the star in my illustrated short stories, but I don't seem to be able to get it started. He really kicked ass at the audition, you know! :))
Maybe showing it to you all would make me move my lazy ass.
...maybe not...but still...worth a shot.

the awakening

This is one of my favourites. The original is already sold to my best friend. She insisted on buying it first, before the world finds out and these stuff start being expensive. Smart girl I'd say! Hihihi

3 more

I've added some colour in Photoshop.
I like how it looks.
I've made these portraits three years ago, I think, and they represent the beginning of this style which evolved a little since then.
I don't have newer stuff digitally yet, but they're going to be here soon.

some doodles made while working

I was self brainstorming for a brief I had at work and it wasn't really going anywhere. But it did eventually. I remember this was in the summer, just about the time I bought my first photo camera and I was fooling around with it. I'm now glad I took these pictures. Cause I usually throw away the stupid sketches I make.

first view of some of my work

I've done this a few years ago. It was a time of big frustration concerning men and self understanding. I have it all figured out now! haha

let me introduce myself

Hello everybody who accidentally or forced by me, happen to bump into this blog!! Here's a biiiiig smile from me! : D
I have this thing - I can draw. And since I believe I don't make the best of this gift God gave me, I thought a blog would help me get rid of some of the frustration and maybe find some opportunities to use my skills in a productive way.

I went to art school in my home town between the age of 12-16 (loooong time ago), I did illustrations for the highschool magazine and I sometimes draw storyboards. A few months ago I did some for the ad agency where I work as a... copywriter (confusing, huh?).
I can say that drawing has always been there for me, even if only when doodling (and I do that a lot).

Inspiration comes especially when I'm pissed or down. It happened very few times when i was actually happy. So, I sometimes draw whatever crazy stuff are going on in my head, mostly to release tension.

This blog also symbolizes an era when I try to draw more often and perfect my skill, find out stuff about illustration, other people interested in it and myself. Taraaaa!
So let's enjoy the ride together!
