Illustration Friday - Trick or treat

Uh - haven't contributed to IF in a while. Bad, bad, bad. What's even worse is that I didn't draw anything for the past week either.
But Halloween inspired me, and the 3 hungry monsters were born. They live on candy and Halloween is their favorite day so they've gone trick or treat. And just for the record - nobody tricks the hungry monsters!

Meet Vera! She's my character featuring in "Libertatea pentru femei" magazine. She has appearances in some of the columns and also in the weekly comic together with her friend Liz. Sometimes they are more funny than others. Just like me, eh? :)

Yupee! Got the stuff I've ordered from Amazon - The fundamentals of illustration and a Watson-Guptill sketchbook .
It took them about 15 days to arrive which is sooner than expected. I'm now ready to record my observations and ideas on my new sketchbook I wish to use a lot. Haven't yet read the book, but it looks neat - from what I see it takes you from the brief to the actual illustration describing the process and the different ways of doing it.
